Our Story

STEL+MAR began in 2021 when Barb, Chris, and winemaker Philip Zorn asked a simple question: why shouldn’t great wine be the standard? Their mission was clear — create award-winning wine that over-delivers on quality and value. Named after their daughter Stella, STEL+MAR was born.

Today, we’re 74% female-owned, family-run, and committed to doing things the right way. Our vineyards are Certified California Sustainable, we use lightweight glass, and we donate a portion of every sale to the National Park Trust.
